Student Recruitment Partnerships Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:
The Student Recruitment Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for implementing, executing and managing institutional agreements and partnerships that directly support student enrollment growth at MIU City University Miami. This role focuses on developing and managing recruitment strategies through brokers, academic institutions, and other organizations, ensuring that partnership initiatives are aligned with MIU’s enrollment and academic objectives. The position operates within the Marketing and Admissions Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within the scope of university policies and procedures, this position includes the following duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate and implement recruitment initiatives through educational brokers, agencies, and partner institutions.
- Manage institutional agreements (local and international) aimed at generating new student enrollment pipelines.
- Support the development and execution of transfer, articulation, and pathway agreements with academic partners.
- Serve as the liaison between MIU and external partners to ensure smooth communication and operational alignment.
- Track, monitor, and report on the performance of partnership-driven recruitment initiatives.
- Responsible for managing the logistical and administrative aspects of negotiating, signing, and monitoring agreements.
- Collaborate with the Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure alignment of partnership activities with overall recruitment strategies.
- Develop a communications and action plan to maintain regular contact with partner organizations and foster long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.and events targeting referral partners.
- Collaborate with the Admissions Department to ensure smooth handover of referred candidates for application and enrollment processing.
- Configure and manage all required steps in the CRM to ensure accurate tracking and successful enrollment of each candidate.
- Represent MIU at education fairs, partner meetings, and other recruitment events, including occasional travel (approximately 10%).
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as number of active partnerships, volume and quality of leads, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, activities, and results in the University’s CRM or other tracking systems.
- Stay informed on trends in student recruitment, agency networks, and the education market to identify new opportunities.
- Responsible for preparing and presenting reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Proven experience in the education sector, preferably in student recruitment, agency relations, or business development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Deep knowledge of the American and Latin culture
