- Bilingual fluency – Spanish fluency is highly valued given the multicultural makeup of our student body.
- Proven teaching experience – Prior online teaching experience is required; face-to-face teaching experience is preferred.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic credentials – Possess a verifiable:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in a relevant field for graduate-level courses (preferred)
- Instructional delivery – Ability to:
- Deliver engaging, well-organized courses through Canvas.
- Facilitate discussions and student interaction in both asynchronous and synchronous formats.
- Adjust instruction to meet the needs of learners across modalities.
- Course preparation & execution – Responsible for preparing syllabi, uploading all required materials, and aligning content with program outcomes and university standards.
- Assessment & feedback – Track student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Communication & accessibility – Be available to students for questions, mentoring, or academic support — online or on campus.
- Timeliness & presence – Log in or arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class start time; meet all academic calendar deadlines for grades and submissions.
- Institutional participation – Attend faculty meetings, contribute to academic improvement initiatives, and engage in professional development.
- Collaborative mindset – Maintain a collegial spirit and willingness to support departmental needs beyond classroom instruction.
